Skidmore Creative
Services is the local web design and maintenance team
of Bud and Ann Skidmore. We also do photos and create videos for the web.
We maintain a large library of photographs and footage of the island which we
continue to update over time.
Bud grew up on
Edisto and Ann joined him here in the late 1960's. They were married in the
Presbyterian Church
on Edisto Island. They're both graduates of the University of Florida College of
Journalism and Mass
Communications. Together they also run White Oak Farm, the island daylily farm.
Bud and his friend
Tom Mason run EDISTO HOME WATCH, a service which looks after homes/pets and
property for owners
when they're off the island. Bud is retired from the South Carolina Educational
Television Network where he
was a producer/director and head of Scripted Services.
