While preserving the historic fabric
of the building we seek to make the manse a livable, functional building for a modern family and a vibrant church community.

floorplan before renovation

The drawing (left) shows the
 current downstairs floor plan
 and the drawing (below left)
shows the new construction.

As you can see the existing
 historic fabric of the home
 is respected but space is
 added to make the kitchen
 and family areas more livable.

Extending the porch retains
the feel of the original structure
 while providing extra room
 for entertaining.

Additional storage is added
 both downstairs and upstairs.

The project would best be
 described as a complete
 renovation with a
small addition.

Before renovation upstairs floorplan

Upstairs floor plan (above) as
 it will be after construction.
New construction will
 take the downstairs from
1353 sq ft to 1614 sq. ft.
While the upstairs will be totally
renovated no additional square
footage will be added so the
final square footage of the home,
heated and cooled, will be
 2967 sq. ft.
