October 25th update

After a brief pause progress is again underway. This week saw the
 start of the installation of the heating and air conditioning
package by Robinson HVAC Service.

There will be units in the attic
and under the house. Here ductwork
in the attic will serve the new bath
and bedroom there, as well as the
rooms on the second floor.

Here Lee and Ray Robinson prep the air
handler prior to installation.

Here Ray is cutting "take offs" into the
duct work before insulating. All ducts
 are being carefully sealed and insulated.

Fitting ductwork into an old home is
often an experience in shoehorning it in
between joists, ceiling, plumbing, and everything else that has to fit into a given space.

But as we watched it began to come together. Here the attic air handler is
now in place, the main attic trunk line is pretty much assembled, and Ray is
carefully taping insulation seams. Work on the HVAC will continue next week.
