November 10th update

Work moved forward this week on the attic, the HVAC system
some further foundation/drainage issues and getting the pump
 repositioned and working.

Wall framing and firing in the
attic are moving ahead. Here you can see
how the heat vents wee framed in.

The beams were not level so a lot of work went into evening them up before the firing could be completed.

A new platform was built for the HVAC
units outside to get them off the ground.

The old pipe to the well was replaced. The
trench was run under where a new block
wall is being built to allow dirt to be
brought in to prevent water running back
under the building.

The manse actually sits in a low spot on the
property. Dirt will be brought in to cause rain
to run away from the building. A new footing
was framed up to support the partial wall
which will keep the fill dirt from washing back
up under the building.

Here Michael puts the finishing touches on the repositioned pump. This may be the last of the major  plumbing issues (with luck!)

It takes a lot of pieces to put together a
modern heating and air conditioning system. Here a few of the pieces are organized on
the back porch waiting to be used.

The air handler for the ground floor will
 hang under the kitchen.
This is lag bolted securely to the beams.

Lee and Ray begin to position duct work that will take air to the new addition.
