March 7th  update

The pace has quickened as floors are sanded and redone,
cabinets begin to arrive, outlets and switches are installed
and our crew has worked their way to the ground floor
installing molding around windows and doors.

Extra help was brought in to help
 with sanding  and refinishing the
 stairs and floors.  (
looking down from
attic hall)

Here the stairs to the attic are
partially redone.

The newly redone attic floor shines
richly in the afternoon sun.

The attic floor (above right)  looked like
this floor on the second level after sanding
 but before varnishing.

Bathroom cabinets have began to arrive.

All of the cabinets are carefully
crafted to fit the space and
style of the home.

The process of leveling the
walls has continued as we moved down from the attic to the first floor. Slow
and meticulous, the house will
reflect this tedious care.

After everything is finally level the moldings are
carefully cut to each window. No two are
exactly the same exact size.

And finally, this window
begins to hint at just how good the
entire house will soon look.
