June 28th , 2008  update

It was a busy week with lots of progress!
Tom Yeargin's people have the exterior almost painted. The new
kitchen appliances are installed. And several smaller issues
continued to move forward.

On Friday the front porch floor was
sporting a fine new coat of paint.

And when you looked up you were greeted by
a pale blue traditional ceiling.

The shutters were stunning in their
new green paint, lined up like soldiers on
the lawn.

Along the sides and front a treated barrier was installed against which dirt will be
piled to allow a slope for drainage. Above
it the lattice has also been painted a
matching green.

As of 6-27 this is how the exterior looks. After all these months it's beginning to reach renewal.

Meanwhile in the second floor bathroom
a new medicine cabinet was framed in.

The new windows were installed in the attic.

New stainless steel appliances took their
places in the gleaming new kitchen. Here you
see the dishwasher near the kitchen sink.

And the new in counter microwave.

The new refrigerator.

Kelly and Michael install one of the
two new ovens.

And here you see the stove, new tile work,
 and the second oven.
