February 1st  update

Our crew continued to work another job this week as the painters
continued working. They finished up the ceilings then began working down
from the attic. By Friday they were working on the second floor.

With the priming done this week saw the beginning of the interior painting.
We couldn't get an estimate on the
total number of gallons that would be
needed but the hallway alone was
estimated at 5 gallons.

As usual the attic was the first place to receive
attention.  The ceiling remains white and
the walls almost match our web color that
surrounds this picture.

As the team moved to the second floor
each room was meticulously "cut in".
Great pains were taken to keep the color off
of the ceilings.

Once the edges were "cut in" the
rest of the walls could be filled in.
This is a second floor bathroom.

What a difference the paint makes!

The larger areas were rolled which speeds
the application dramatically.

But there's simply no way to
really move too quickly.
Areas like the stairwell are simply too
difficult to reach. Also slowing
things down are issues like moving ladders and
cleaning brushes between paint colors.
