August 15th update

Despite record heat steady progress continues.

With deadly heat indexes of 115 degrees
and above work moved inside. More
framing was done...

Damaged floors were repaired with careful attention
to detail using salvaged planks.

The framing in the kitchen
fireplace has been removed
and the gas pipe installed.

Rick, Jim and Gerry go under the
house to work on wiring.

Final touches are put on
the siding using finishing
screws. Screws have up to ten
times the holding power of nails.

Michael works on the upstairs plumbing.
Here he is gluing together some of
 the vent system.
