May 3, 2008  update

Nearly a year since we began this web,  we encourage you to take a look back and compare it to where we are today.
Meanwhile, inside and out,  the work goes on.

On the front porch the old ceiling had to
be matched to the new ceiling.
This goes around the corner to the new
back porch.

And here you see the newly enclosed overhang
at the new back steps.

Upstairs this week the painters
worked on the trim.

New bathroom fixtures upstairs and in
the attic are in place. Most work!

Progress continues in the kitchen. Here you are
looking from the new addition toward the
rebuilt fireplace. Many cabinets have been hung and you can begin to appreciate the new
work areas.

Meanwhile volunteers like Fran continue to help where they can. Every nail head has to be filled, a time consuming and laborious job.
