As we ended May considerable progress had been made.  But much remains to be done in coming months. An
immediate need is for detailed plans for the kitchen
and bathrooms. For that we turned to Signature
Kitchen and Baths of Charleston.

Tim Sayers, Design consultant of Signature Kitchens
and Baths,  met with Michael to discuss
these two, key parts of the project.

He carefully measured the
areas involved, studied the plans with
Michael, Jim Murray, and David
Lybrand  and will soon
be providing plans for review.

Would you want these
three guys planning your kitchen?
 Thankfully the ladies of the
Church took charge.

More visible progress came with the new month
as the frame and joists of the addition were
constructed.

At the same time preparations for
a new storage area under the Manse were made
and the flooring in the attic over the bathroom was
completed. An area under the stairs was
opened for additional storage. (right)

This is the area where the storage
room will be poured.

To assure that it remains dry a
place for a sump pump has been
included. The ground is leveled
for concrete to be poured.

The attic floor has been repaired
using original materials.
