Progress Continues

The old fireplaces, long closed up, have been reopened
and will be reworked.

A fiberglass shower unit has been roughed in.

This fine spring morning found the crew hard at
work starting the process of refurbishing the
foundation.

The brick is fragile and the mortar dried to almost
sand like consistency. So a block foundation will be
added behind the original brick to carry the building's weight.
The original brick is being carefully preserved to face
the new foundation.
